Qatar International Food Festival 2017

March 29 - April 8

The eighth edition of Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) will be held at Hotel Park in front of The Sheraton Hotel Doha from 29 March—8 April 2017.

Participating restaurants and cafes will be offering a special QIFF Menu – featuring flavourful dishes at discounted prices. The new QIFF Menu will encourage visitors and residents to enjoy the festival experience at their favourite restaurants and to discover the exciting new culinary delights, which have entered the Qatari food scene since the last edition of the festival. With four set prices of QAR59, QAR99, QAR139, QAR179 and multiple cuisines represented, the QIFF Menu will offer something special for all taste buds.

Visitors to the 2017 edition of Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) need not worry about taking shuttle buses to reach the venue. This year the main venue of the festival is the Hotel Park on the Corniche and there is ample underground parking.

QIFF Entertainment Schedule

In another first for the Festival, a series of Chef’s Table events will also be held at select five-star hotel restaurants, giving residents and visitors an opportunity to enjoy special live cooking and dining experiences with internationally-acclaimed chefs. The events will offer diners exclusive access to their favourite renowned chef, giving them rare glimpses into their cooking rituals and a seat on the dish’s journey from raw ingredients to decorated plates.

Main Zone: Hotel Park

  • 73 participants
  • Key features: Live Cooking Theatre (4 pm – 9:30 pm daily), Main Festival Stage

Healthy Zone

  • 6 participants
  • Key feature: Qatar Cancer Society awareness booth

Hotel Zone – bringing the best of Qatar’s 4 and 5-star culinary experiences all at one place and at prices not higher that QAR 35

  • 16 participants from 4 and 5 -star members of Qatar’s hospitality sector

Cultural Zone – offering festival-goers with food experiences from all corners of the world

  • 10 participants representing 10 countries (Ethiopia, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Philippines, South Africa, Turkey, USA and Qatar)
  • Key feature: Stage will host cultural performances sponsored by countries’ respective embassies in Qatar.

Chef’s Table at 5-star hotels – QAR 1000 – 1500

  • Selected 5-star hotels across Doha are offering residents and visitors a unique opportunity to join internationally-acclaimed chefs for an interactive cooking and dining experience
  • Bookings available fro 8–20 persons and can be made directly through the hotel’s F&B reservations platforms


Opening hours: 2 pm – 10 pm on weekdays and 2 pm – 11 pm on weekends

The first edition of QIFF was organised in 2010 at the Doha Exhibition Center. Over the years, QIFF has grown to become one of Qatar’s most popular festivals, receiving a record-breaking 200,000 visitors in its 2016 edition. During March 2016 – the month during which QIFF was held – Qatar welcomed 305,014 visitors, the highest number of visitor arrivals to be recorded in a single month.
