Qatar UK Festival 2023

The British Council is delivering the 8th Qatar UK Festival to foster a view of the UK’s engagement with Qatar through an integrated British Embassy and British Council partnership and engagement with local stakeholders. The festival will run under the theme of ‘Sustainability and Communities’.
The festival activities will spread across various venues including at the Expo 2023 Doha, M7 and the British Council. The festival is created and organised by the British Council in partnership with several partners.
The Lake International Comic Art Festival Workshop and Fashion Show
A captivating family day awaits, featuring a Comic/Art workshop led by Qatari and UK artists from the Lakes International Comic Art Festival (LICAF), focusing on Sustainability. Attendees will enjoy a fashion show highlighting the use of recycled materials, promoting an environmentally conscious approach and creating an eco-friendly experience tailored for young audiences.

Date & Timings: November 24, 2023
- 1 pm to 6 pm: Comic Art Workshop by the Lakes International Comic Art Festival (LICAF)
- 5 pm: Sustainable Fashion Show
