Do you live in Al Wakra and want to take the family for a walk on the Lusail Marina Promenade, go shopping in the impressive Place Vendome, see the startling new Katara Towers and the four ever-rising Lusail Plaza Towers, or just take in all the impressive new developments going on there?
Well, hop on the Metro Red Line and at Legtaifiya Interchange station you can transfer quickly and easily onto the Lusail Tram network.
Only seven stations up to now, but these serve the Lusail Marina, the Marina Promenade, the Yacht Club, the Esplanade and the latest and greatest mall – Place Vendome.
There is a French air about Place Vendome – the very name is very Paris, chic and fashionable. There’s also a large new Monoprix with its great food selections. and Lusail Central station is right outside Gate 1 of Place Vendome (suitably named Eiffel for francophiles).
As for the tram, you’ll be very impressed by the level of safety and security, and comfort. It’s very stable and professionally run. It’s easy to transfer from the Metro, one ticket serves all and if in any doubt there are always very helpful staff on hand to answer any of your questions.
