Visitors of Katara Cultural Village witnessed a marvelous folk show from the Czech Republic this Friday and Saturday, as part of the Cultural Diversity Festival held in the village’s amphitheatre.
The Cultural Diversity Festival includes 18 participating countries and aims to link cultures and nations together, and strengthen bonds through intercultural dialogues and exposure. Czech band Danag performed a folkloric show with traditional music and dance from the Czech Republic.
The Iranian folkloric band, Ile Ehsas, from Kohgelouyeh and Bourahmad provinces of Iran will also perform a traditional dance and music show next weekend on 11-12 January.
