The ministries and other government department and general authorities and institutions will start Eid holiday on Ramadan 1434 AH corresponding to 6 August to 15 August 2013, while employees to resume work 18 August 2013.
General Directorate of Border Passports and Expatriate Affairs (GDBPEA – Immigration Dept as commonly known), Nationality and Travel Documents Department, Traffic Department, Criminal Evidences and Information Department (CEID) and MoI services Centers will work from 8 am to noon.
Traffic Investigation sections will be working round the clock.
The holidays for Qatar Central Bank (QCB) and for other banks and financial corporations under the control of QCB and Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) will be three days. The governor of QCB is to fix the starting date of the holiday.
