Grand Heritage Doha Hotel and Spa has announced it is participating in Breast Cancer Awareness month, by launching its ‘Pink Cupcakes for a cause’ campaign.
The hotel is offering its guests pink cupcakes for sale, and the money collected will be donated to Qatar Cancer Society to help patients. Director of Sales & Marketing, Zeid Talhami, said:
Breast Cancer is a very important global issue at hand, and October has forever been a specific time for the community to shift its attention and join hands in support of those in need. The hotel is delighted to cooperate with Qatar Cancer Society on this matter, and confirms that this contribution on behalf of its staff signifies Grand Heritage family’s commitment to help and support the local community. The hotel has contributed to raising awareness about this cause annually, by wearing the Breast Cancer pink ribbon as well as providing educational lectures to its staff. We would like to thank those who are taking part and helping us reach our goal in delivering a generous amount of money to the organisation, and we look forward to further collaborations with our guests in honour of the community.’
The campaign will be hosted by the hotel’s popular Victoria Tea Lounge, reputed for its most favored tea delicacies. The tea lounge also offers a variety of teas, incorporating natural herbs and rare components that act as antioxidants, which can also help fight cancer.
