Food & Beverage at Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel & Villas will take a fresh direction with the appointment of new F&B Manager.
Born in Turkey, Cem Adiguzel completed his studies at Balikesir University, with a degree in Hotel Management. Upon his graduation, he started his first hospitality position with Grand Hyatt Istanbul in 2007. After 2 years, Adiguzel transferred within the company to work for the prestigious Park Hyatt Istanbul in 2009. After growing in this role for three years Adiguzel, made the move to the Middle East with Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi in 2012.
Adiguzel made the move to Qatar in 2014 with Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel & Villas where he started as Assistant Manager in the events service team. Since then he has held various positions in the food & beverage division including manager of the popular Santa Monica Breakfast Club. Adiguzel has experience in casual dining, in-room dining, fine dining and events service.
In his new position as Food & Beverage Manager, Adiguzel will be looking to re-energise the food & beverage offerings at the hotels six award-winning dining outlets, working closely with the outlet managers and culinary department to ensure guests receive only the best experience.
I am excited to have been given the opportunity to continue to grow within Hyatt and develop the existing outlets. Living in Doha for the last 5 years, I feel I have a very good understanding of our customers and what they want. There are many great competitors joining the market with lots of international brands entering the dining scene, this only pushes us to think creatively and focus on refining the service we offer.’
