Gulfstream G700

According to Gulfstream President Mark Burns, Qatar Executive demonstrated their confidence in Gulfstream when they confirmed their commitment as international launch customer for the G500, which is in service with them now alongside the G650ER.

We are grateful they have chosen to continue growing their Gulfstream fleet with our new flagship G700 and look forward to their customers travelling in the utmost comfort on the largest business jet in the industry.’

Qatar Executive’s latest agreement with Gulfstream is for the purchase of ten units of G700 aircraft in addition to their recently announced orders of additional all-new Gulfstream G500 and high-performing G650ER aircraft.

Eleven Gulfstream aircraft are currently in service with Qatar Executive, including six G650ER and five G500. The executive charter service is the world’s largest commercial operator of the G650ER and the first commercial charter operator of the G500.

Qatar Airways Group CEO, HE Akbar Al Baker said they are excited to be the launch customer of the G700, the largest business jet in the industry, and are looking forward to the aircraft joining their fleet.

Qatar Executive customers have extremely high standards, and this aircraft will help us meet their requirements by delivering unrivalled performance that complements our excellence in customer service.’

Gulfstream introduced the G700 this week as the industry’s new flagship. It boasts business aviation’s largest cabin and can fly farther, faster than any other competitor in the business-jet industry. Powered by two Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines, the G700 can fly 7,500 nautical miles/13,890 kilometres at Mach 0.85 or 6,400 nm/11,853 km at Mach 0.90. It features the Gulfstream Symmetry Flight Deck with active control sidesticks and the most extensive use of touchscreen technology in the industry.

The G700 cabin is also unparalleled, offering an extra-large ultragalley with lounge/crew compartment, up to five living areas and a large, bespoke master bedroom with en suite master bath. The aircraft also features an all-new, Gulfstream-developed revolutionary lighting system that truly mimics circadian rhythms. Along with 20 panoramic windows and the Gulfstream cabin environment of 100 percent fresh air, low cabin altitude and whisper-quiet sound levels, the G700 promotes in-flight wellness and greatly reduces the physical impact of traveling halfway around the world nonstop.
