HEC Paris Concludes Custom Programme for Kuwait Foundation, KFAS
HEC Paris, ranked number 2 worldwide for Executive Education in 2020 and number 3 for the International Executive MBA (EMBA) in 2020 by Financial Times, has ended their custom-designed online programme for Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), ‘Managing Business in Challenging Times’.
The programme was delivered by Professor Roger Hallowell and attended by 40 senior executives from finance and banking sectors, and from trading, oil and gas. As part of the learning initiative, the programme included a webinar on ‘Responding to global economic and geopolitical disruptors’ by Dr Serge Besanger, Professor of Strategy and Economics at HEC Paris.
KFAS is a private, non-profit organisation set up to promote science, technology and innovation in the State of Kuwait and for contributing companies from the private sector.
Combining strategic thinking with leadership qualities, ‘Managing Business in Challenging Times’ was aimed at enhancing the skills of senior managers to cope with an uncertain environment and with unforeseen challenges. The participants were provided with insights on the best practices of leadership, and educated on various leadership styles to be adopted under conditions of VUCA – Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity.
HEC Paris custom-designed programmes help executives and senior managers enhance their leadership skills, including their ability to design and implement change.
The HEC Paris’ award-winning custom programmes are very relevant in today’s uncertain world, says Dr Pablo Martin de Holan, Dean of HEC Paris in Qatar.
Under uncertain conditions, the quality of the leaders makes the difference, and our programmes are designed to enhance leadership skills under VUCA conditions.
HEC Paris’ custom-designed programmes are fully customised leadership development programmes that enable participants to reflect upon themselves, their organisation, their role within the industry, and the position their company occupies on national and global stage.
The programmes incorporate blended solutions including case studies, business simulations and bespoke digital portals. These are further accentuated by professional and executive coaching, projects tackling real-life challenges and international study tours, for a lasting transformational impact.
