Due to necessary maintenance work, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced that the Bone and Joint Center in Old Salata will be closed to the public on Wednesday 11 February and Thursday 12 February 2015.

In press release statement, regarding the temporary closure, HMC said:

HMC is undertaking essential maintenance work in some areas of the Bone and Joint Center in Old Salata so we can continue to provide the safest, most effective and most compassionate care to our patients…so our engineering teams can perform this essential work. All measures have been taken to ensure minimal disruption to our patients.’

The Center will resume normal operations on Sunday 15 February 2015. Patients with outpatient department appointments on those days have already been informed and have had their appointments rescheduled.

HMC has been the principal public healthcare provider in the state of Qatar for over three decades. HMC manages eight hospitals, incorporating five specialist hospitals and three community hospitals.
