Nurses and midwives at HMCHamad Medical Corporation (HMC) is looking to recruit graduate midwives and nurses from all specialties who are currently living in Qatar.

To give opportunity to interested candidates to submit their applications, HMC will hold its first Open Day for Graduate Nurses in Doha on Thursday, 19 July at Bayt Al Diyafah in Hamad Bin Khalifa Medical City.

To be considered for employment, candidates must have the following:

  • BSc Nursing with a minimum of two years appropriate work experience.
  • Valid Qatar ID (QID).
  • Valid Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) credentials and have passed the prometric examinations.
  • No objection certificate (NOC), or the ability to obtain one.

Only candidates meeting the above criteria will be considered for positions. Candidates should bring along their QID and curriculum vitae (CV) on the day, as well as any appropriate certificates and documents.

Three sessions for interested candidates will be held on 19 July – 8 am to 9 am; 10 am to 11 am, and 12 pm to 1 pm. These are repeated sessions (it is only necessary to attend one; there is no advance registration) and sessions will be used to provide information about available roles and about HMC. During the sessions, interested candidates will have an opportunity to submit their application and CV.

There are currently more than 9,000 nurses and midwives working at HMC in a range of roles. Newly-recruited nurses will cover a variety of specialties, supporting the current nursing and midwifery workforce.
