The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G recently received the highest rating from DXOMARK for its camera performance.
The king of smartphones was given Photo and Video scores of 134 and 102, respectively and an overall score of 123 to make the top of the scoreboard on the trusted industry benchmark for evaluating professional camera, lenses and smartphones. The acknowledgment is a testament to Huawei’s relentless commitment to camera innovation.
In terms of camera specifications, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is equipped with the same top-class SuperSensing Cine Camera, which includes a 40MP SuperSensing Camera, a 40MP Cine Camera, an 8MP Telephoto Camera and a 3D Depth Sensing Camera.
The SuperSensing camera comes with a RYYB colour filter array that Huawei pioneered, providing the camera with outstanding light sensitivity for extreme low-light photography. The Cine Camera comes with a large 1/1.54-inch sensor and supports the capturing of 4K ultra-wide time-lapse videos, as well as recording at 7680fps for ultra slow-motion videos.
The performance difference between the 5G and non-5G models can be attributed to the software improvements that Huawei made to its latest flagship device.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is powered by Kirin 990 5G, the world’s first 5G SoC to integrate processors and 5G baseband, using the 7nm+ EUV process. Supporting SA and NSA networking modes, it flexibly meets the requirements of users and carriers in different stages of 5G development. It also features Huawei’s most advanced antenna design yet, delivering high quality 5G connectivity performance whether it is being held vertically or sideways.
