IDAM, an Alain Ducasse Restaurant, located on the top floor of the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) with spectacular views of the Doha skyline, offers a moment of sharing and generosity for a memorable Ramadan experience.
Chef Frederic Larquemin said:
At IDAM, we aim to create a memorable moment for our guests who are lifted out of the ordinary and plunged into a refined, generous and enchanted world. They embark on a culinary journey and experience French Mediterranean haute cuisine with an Arabic twist.’
The Ramadan experience menu is in total harmony with Alain Ducasse’s culinary philosophy: the taste of the essential, a quest for the origin of flavor. IDAM is a unique place offering haute cuisine in a sophisticated atmosphere.
Together with Executive Chef Frederic Larquemin, Alain Ducasse presents a Ramadan experience menu of creations featuring delicate and captivating aromas. It is a tribute to nature which reveals itself in the simplest of ways and it is a tribute to the Arab traditions of hospitality and generosity.
IDAM Ramadan menu includes:
- Mezze selection: delicate coco bean soup, halloumi, chickpeas and lentils, ‘harira’, bissara-style fava been falafel and summer salad, flowers and vegetables, ‘loomi’ condiment. A Quattro bursting with freshness to express IDAM generosity.
- To share: Alain Ducasse’s signature Cookpot of freekeh, oven baked vegetables.
- Main course: ‘Kabssa’ free-range chicken, cereals and lemon or wild hammour pepper-citrus, hindbeh. A duo with aromatic richness to continue the journey of culinary discoveries.
- Dessert: local date soufflé, laban sorbet bursting with sweetness to bridge to the Ramadan tradition of breaking the fast with dates.
Dedicating special attention to crafting non alcoholic beverages, the barmen work alongside the chefs in creating the perfect match with the food creations. The use of local flavours, spices, and fruit enrolls the drinks into a whole new tasting experience.
