This week, grab your chance to see live handball sporting action at the IHF Super Globe Championship 2014. With complimentary admission for all, simply bring your voices and your flags to cheer and support local and international teams.

The handball tournament runs from 7 to 12 September at the Qatar Handball Association Complex, the country’s newest professional handball facility. It promises an exciting series of matches with eight clubs from five continents competing for the trophy in Doha.

Watch local sports clubs take on international teams from Tunisia, Germany, Australia, Brazil and Spain, and celebrate at the opening ceremony tonight, 7 September at 7 pm.

Matches begin at 1pm on Sunday with Espérance Sportive de Tunis (TUN) vs. Sydney University (AUS) followed by SG Flensburg-Handewitt (GER) vs. HC Taubaté (BRA) at 3 pm, El Jaish (QAT) vs Al Ahli (QAT) at 5 pm and FC Barcelona (ESP) vs. Al Sadd (QAT) at 8:15pm

All matches begin from 2 pm onwards on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, with the final rounds starting from 1:30 pm on Friday 12 September. Everyone is welcome!
