An image of the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani with ‘Glorious Tamim’ written in Arabic calligraphy has been adopted by all. Ahmed bin Majed Almaadheed is the artist behind this mural that went viral.

Telecom Services Providers Join In

Qatar’s telecom service providers, Ooredoo and Vodafone, change network to name to Tamim almajd to express solidarity. The network name was changed to Tamim almajd for two days.

Qatar Post issued new postage stamps titled ‘Tamim Al Majd’ (Glorious Tamim), featuring the Emir and the Qatari flag. A statement issued by Q-Post says that as many as 5,000 papers of stamps had been printed and the postage stamps is available for sale at the main office of Q-Post.
