The expansion of InterContinental Doha Hotel is soon to be revealed. Pascal Gauvin, IHG Chief Operating Officer, India, Middle East and Africa and Bander Harbi, IHG Vice President Operations / KSA, Qatar, UAE, have recently visited the facilities of the forthcoming extension which is set to be completed second quarter of 2016.

InterContinental Doha will be adding to its existing facilities an executive wing of 120 luxurious rooms and suites, designed to become a boutique hotel within the hotel itself. In addition, the hotel will open Doha’s first InterContinental Spa featuring 16 world class treatment rooms, the world largest Belgian Café with over 400 seating capacity with a brand-new outdoor terrace; a refined Cigar Bar, and a Club InterContinental Lounge overviewing the skylines of Doha.

And for those looking for a luxurious life style in Qatar, the extension includes a residential project adjacent to InterContinental Doha and offering 18 Beach villas and 76 apartments. All those residences will enjoy 5-Star facilities and services.

Gauvin commented:

InterContinental Doha has always been a key hospitality hub in Qatar and this development will further strengthen its position and offer the Doha visitors and residents a unique address in town.’
