The 2nd International Artists Doha (IAD) exhibition will open on 22nd March at 4pm at the Qatar Foundation Recreation Centre in Education City. The exhibition is sponsored by Derwent Pencils and will be opened by His Excellency, John Groffen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Qatar. The exhibition runs from Thursday 22nd to Sunday 25th March.

Ten artists will be exhibiting their latest work in a wide range of themes and styles, from realism to abstract. The artists taking part are Marjolijn Stolk, Annette Wendling, Jacqui Murry, May Abuela, Pedro Boaventura, Winnifred Bastian, Pip Hoy, Dominika Bozic, Hannelore Seckel and Jesse Payne.

A panel of judges will select and announce the best paintings on the night and there will also be a People’s Choice Award where exhibition guests will get to choose their favourite artworks. IAD was formed in early 2012 by two Dutch artists to provide a forum for expatriate artists in Doha.
