A five-day workshop on behavioural skills for investigators started at Capital Security Department on Sunday 17 May 2015.
The Director General of General Directorate of Criminal Investigations, Brigadier Khalifa Abdullah Al Noaimi, spoke on ‘Ethical Model of Policeman’. He said that a police officer should keep a high responsibility in all his dealings with the public where because of his position, he is not only representing himself but represents the Ministry of Interior, entrusted with keeping the security, safety and dignity of every member of the society.
The Director of Legal Affairs Department, Brigadier Salim Saqr Al Muraikhi, spoke on the qualities that must be shown by the investigating officer. He pointed out that the investigator being the first to receive a criminal case, has the primary role in the detection of the fact and circumstances of the case, and therefore he holds a leading role in proving the evidence.
According to the Head of Al Sadd Police Division, Lieutenant Colonel Nasser Misfar Al Qahtani, the workshop was jointly organised by Al Sadd Police Division and Training Section of Human Resource Department.
