The International School of London Qatar (ISL Qatar) recently hosted its Grade 12 graduation, celebrating the success of their 45 graduates and the school’s seventh since their opening in 2008. This batch also marked the school’s 10 years this year.
The ceremony highlighted the graduates’ achievement and completion of the IB Diploma. Students, parents and teachers enjoyed an unforgettable afternoon with memories from throughout the year.

The Class of 2019 graduates have been accepted into some of the world’s most prestigious universities in the UK, USA, Canada, USA, The Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Australia and Qatar.
The graduation ceremony also recognised the achievements of the students:
- Lara Exton and Habeeb Buraimoh were honoured with Valedictorian awards in recognition of making outstanding contributions to the school and for being exemplary representatives of the Class of 2019;
- Ra’nna Mughal was honoured with the Creativity Activity Service Award as the student who demonstrated excellence in all three strands of the CAS programme;
- Ana Laura Rubinstein and Abdulla Al Dahneem received the coveted Learner Award as the student who had shown outstanding educational growth, improvement, commitment and intellectual development in their academic studies in Grades 11 and 12, respectively;
- Samuel Nyakiamo received the Nadim Makarem Award as the student who personifies the values of ISL Qatar, and as an outstanding representative of the school with a positive attitude towards the life and culture of others.
