International School of London Qatar (ISL Qatar) has qualified to become the Diploma of Spanish as a Second Language (DELE) examination centre for Qatar. DELE is the recognised international certification of Spanish fluency and is required for any student wishing to attend Spanish universities.

ISL Qatar teaches Spanish mother tongue as well as 11 other mother tongue languages, and is the recognised leader of Mother Tongue programmes in Doha. The school will host the DELE exams from the Instituto Cervantes for the first time in May 2016. The DELE examinations provide an official certificate from the Spanish Government, through the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. Students will have the opportunity to take these prestigious and internationally recognised Spanish examinations at the International School of London Qatar.

International School of London QatarThe DELE exams follow the European Language Framework (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2). Students unsure of their level can access an online assessment through the Instituto Cervantes website. The ISL Qatar mother tongue programme is an integral part of the school’s International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum from Early Childhood through the IB Diploma. The school is authorised to offer the Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes and is accredited by the Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
