The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Qatar, in cooperation with the Qatari Businesswomen Association (QBWA), recently organised the quarterly edition of the Ladies’ Supper Club, at the newly opened BiCE Italian Ristorante at the Pullman Doha West Bay. The event was dedicated to breast cancer awareness

This exclusive networking platform brings together female entrepreneurs in Qatar together with women ambassadors and diplomats based in Doha.

 

To join the Supper Club, interested individuals – business professionals or business owners operating in Qatar -have to submit their profile and pass the criteria to be a member.

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Qatar, chaired by Palma Libotte, has been actively promoting bilateral business opportunities between Italy and Qatar as well as hosting international business networking events for almost 15 years. Their major event, Back 2 Business Qatar gathers at least 400 to 600 participants every edition.

QBWA, meanwhile, was established in 2000 to provide a platform to empower business and professional women in Qatar. Its membership comprises a number of prominent businesswomen who have successfully established themselves in different sectors. They have successfully promoted a number of events for Qatari women, including the Qatar Businesswomen Award, the Qatar International Businesswomen Forum and the QBWA Takreem Awards.
