It’s World Sleep Day! Go Back to Bed!

Westin Hotels and Resorts around the world are celebrating World Sleep Day today, an annual event held on the Friday before Spring Vernal Equinox of each year to celebrate the benefits of good and healthy sleep and promote the prevention and management of sleep disorders. Just so you know, the first World Sleep Day was held on 14 March 2008, organised by the World Sleep Day Committee of the World Sleep Society.

This day is part of Westin Hotels’ main pillars and this year, The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa is driving the campaign in the region under the slogan #JOMO, the joy of missing out.

According to The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa, they want people to reclaim their well-being routine and embrace the Joy of Missing Out.

From a great night’s sleep to making time to workout, #JOMO allows people to say yes to taking time back for themselves and feel content with staying in and disconnect as a form of self-care.

As part of this year’s campaign, Westin Hotels around the world will go dark today day and disconnect from social media and focus on well-being.
