The International Wedding Exhibition and Fashion Show 2017 marks the 10th edition of the annual event this 18 – 22 May at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).
Assembling remarkable names in the wedding industry locally and internationally, IWED will feature the newest inspirations, ideas, styles and trends for five days, from 12 pm to 10 pm. Participating countries are mainly from Qatar, Lebanon, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Turkey, India, Hong Kong and more. The exhibition will feature glamorously inspiring bridal fashion shows, live entertainment, Zaffat Shows, traditional activities, make-up tutorials and more. Thousands of soon-to-be-weds, fashion enthusiasts, business people and designers from and across Qatar are expected to visit IWED.
According to Qatar Expo CEO Hadi Ali, organising IWED for 10 years has been extremely gratifying and rewarding, despite the changes made on the schedule.
There have been several reasons why Qatar Expo decided to shift the event schedule, such as our loyal exhibitors, conflicts (of schedules) and the several requests we received. That is why we’ve decided to bring IWED this month. Progress is impossible without change, I believe.’
