The Pearl-Qatar

Treasure Art PearlThe Pearl-Qatar announced it will be organising ‘The Trash to Treasure’ art project 2014 in association with the Qatar Green Building Council, which will be completed over four consecutive weekend days, 21, 22, and 28, 29 March 2014.

The St. Regis Doha on the beach

Watch the lights go out at The St. Regis Doha and across Doha city. Earth Hour and Reggae continues until midnight.

Age: 21 and over. ID required to be shown on entry.

Jazz in the dark  

Candlelight and acoustic performance at JALC Doha. Dominick Farinacci and the JALC All Stars will be performing. Earth Hour and Jazz continues until midnight.

The-Torch Doha

Earth Hour final 2014The Torch Doha will be switching off their exterior LED lights and lights inside the public areas during the Earth Hour. The hotel, the highest building in Qatar, will be saving 200KW equivalent to 200,000W by switching off a total of 3780 LED lights.

Three Sixty revolving restaurant and Torch Tea Garden will serve food and signature mocktails at candle light.

Aspire Zone Foundation Doha QatarIn support of the initiative Aspire Zone will also use solar powered lighting to light the public football pitches and sports courts on this day. Also, all non-essential lights will be off.

  • Switching off façade lights
  • Switching off airconditioner in all the properties
  • Not using any of our vehicles to minimize the pollution
  • Switching off lights and replacing them with candles in Al Matbakh, at Arumaila Boutique Hotel from 7 pm until 9:30 pm (or closing time)
  •  Switching off lights and replacing them with candles in Al Terrace at Al Mirqab Boutique Hotel starting from 7 pm until 9:30 pm (or closing time)
  •  Special Menu will be used to be cooked with gas/charcoal in both the outlets in Al Matbakh and  in Al Terrace starting from 7 pm until closing time

Ooredoo HQFor the sixth year in a row, Ooredoo will join monuments and companies around the world on Saturday 29 March 2014 in marking Earth Hour, by switching off all the lights and non-essential systems at both its iconic tower in West Bay and its Airport HQ2, from 8:30 to 9:30 pm.
