Compass International School students became journalists for their school’s Compass Magazine for a week during the Activities Week 2017 recently.
The students were introduced to the types of tasks undertaken by ‘real’ journalists such as research, using their imagination to come up with interesting articles, and using their social skills to interview other students and staff. They took photographs, worked on lay-outs, proof read articles and meet their deadlines.
It has been an intense week, but the final product has been rewarding!
