Delightfully it is dessert week and this week’s recipe is a true classic and definitely one to add to your culinary repertoire of delectable desserts.
Lemon Pudding is one of those old-fashioned puddings I believe everyone will love. A very simple recipe combining butter, sugar, eggs, flour and fresh lemons. I like to add a few chopped dates to bring in that Arabic touch but their addition is optional. I also like to serve this citrus-rich pudding with a generous dollop of vanilla-sweetened whipped cream and a few seasonal berries such as redcurrant or raspberries. All very straightforward and uncomplicated, a dessert absolutely scrumptious for those of you with what is termed as ‘a sweet tooth’.
So please enjoy this heavenly pudding and see you next week for another JULES delicious recipe.
STAY SAFE, STAY WELL and of course, STAY MAKING DESSERTS.
