Tomato Zinger

Hello everyone.
It is very important to always try to eat or drink something nutritious, raw or health boosting in your daily diet. The recipe I share this week is Tomato Zinger. This is a great ‘pick me up’ drink if feeling a little lethargic. Perfect for breakfast or just when you feel the body needs to re-charge.

Preparation: 5 minutes | No cooking
Ingredients per person
1 cup of V8 tomato juice
Juice of half a lemon
4 ice cubes
Splash Worcester sauce
Splash Tabasco sauce
Garnish
Raw celery
Few fennel seeds
Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a food blender.
Blend together quickly.
Pour into an attractive glass, and garnish with fresh celery, a few extra fennel seeds and a grind of freshly ground black pepper.
Drink immediately.
Jules Tip: This recipe naturally can be made using fresh tomato juice however, the commercially produced V8 is an equally good, ready prepared substitute available in all hypermarkets.
