The Cultural Village Foundation – Katara (Katara) announced the launch of the Katara Caricature Competition aimed at enhancing the role of caricature art as a medium of expression in the Arab world.

According to Katara General Manager Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, the award stems from the permanent interest of Katara to provide additional medium to the Arab cultural and artistic scene. Katara plays a vital role in revitalising Arab culture through their various activities. The award, hopefully, will discover and encourage new talents as well as consolidate the presence of distinguished Arab caricature artists globally.
