KidZania Doha and World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) has recently teamed up to build a workshop designed especially for educators in Qatar.

Committed to its vision, KidZania Doha aims to enrich the educational scene in Qatar through the event, in partnership with WISE and Doha Learning Days. With the theme, ‘The Role We Play: Building a Creative Approach to Social Mobility’, the workshop was aimed to give emphasis on the importance of role play in the learning process of children and how they will be able to use a creative approach to social mobility.

The KidZania Edu Zummit 2019 was held inside KidZania Doha with over a hundred educators participating from all over Qatar.

Dr Ger Graus OBE, a renowned figure in the field of education and Global Director of Education at KidZania, serves as the keynote speaker of the event. Dr Ger was joined by Muna Al Sulaiti from Qatar Red Crescent; Captain Ahmed El Said from Qatar Airways; and Dr Taj Kardaman from Qatar Career Development Centre.

The KidZania EDU ZUMMIT is an initiative of KidZania Global and is set to be an annual event, starting this year in Doha. The summit aims to provide a platform for collaborators and educators to discuss and share their insights and knowledge regarding children’s learning – overcoming emerging challenges and providing a roadmap to understanding the future of the younger generation.

As part of the workshop, a question and answer segment, followed by a panel discussion. In order to enhance the experience and to learn more about the educational benefits of role play, the educators also participated in the Hands on Role-play experience as they try out the activities in the city establishments of KidZania Doha.
