KidZania, the fastest growing kids’ interactive educational entertainment brand in the world, officially opened KidZania Doha in the heart of Aspire Park. Doha joins KidZania’s global family as the 27th facility in 21 countries, marking 20 years of KidZania brand successfully igniting the hearts and minds of more children to Get Ready for a Better World®.

The opening ceremony was attended by government officials, industry partners, and representatives from different KidZania franchises around the world. Exclusive Gold Tickets were given away to kids who participated in the KidZania contest to visit the city during the day of its inauguration.

The fun opening ceremony was run entirely by kids and featured talents from Qatar. Officials from KidZania spoke about how the concept brings learning and entertainment together to strategically teach children values through role-playing activities prepared to deliver hands-on experience which could not be easily replicated and absorbed in a traditional classroom.

This concept aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030, building a sustainable and harmonised society by preparing children for tomorrow, enabling the kids to fully embrace and learn about real working life and how the economy works.

KidZania Doha keys were handed to industry partners who invested in the future of the younger generation through KidZania as their favourite CSR and learning platform. These partners include QNB, Qatar Airways, Ministry of Defence, Qatar Rail, Kahramaa, Al Aziziyah Boutique Hotel, Qatar Red Crescent, Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Qatar Career and Development Center, Qatar National Library, Al Rayyan Water, Olive Suno Radio, Ghadeer Dairy, Fairy Tale Salon, Millies Cookies, Hot Dog House, Al Mutahajiba, and Jotun Paints.

Through ultra-realistic role-play, children at KidZania can learn about different careers, the inner-workings of a city and the concept of managing money, while having fun. Each experience at KidZania is designed to empower kids, giving them the confidence to be their best selves and inspiration to be productive global citizens.

With the addition of the Doha franchise, KidZania now have 27 facilities operating in 21 countries and there are ongoing expansion for ten more facilities in five new countries.
