The last round of the Misfer Qatar National Rally will take place this weekend, on 9 and 10 January 2015. 

The Championship is already for the Qatari driver Abdulla Al Kuwari, who has 75 points as he has won all the previous rounds of the Rally. The second position is not yet decided as there are different drivers with options to finish in second place. The Kuwaiti driver Mishari Al Theferi is second in the standings with 36 points, and the Qatari driver Nada Zaidan is third in the provisional classification with 22 points. Khalifa Saleh is provisionally in fourth position with 18 points.

Together with the Qatar National Rally, it will be also the last round of Qatar National Baja Round 8, where the leader is the Emirati Ali Al Kitbi and already got the championship as he is leading with 120 points. The second classified in the Qatar National Baja is Ali Al Shawi with 92 points.

On Friday 9 January, it will take place the scrutineering at Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) offices from 2 pm to 7 pm and the start of the Rally will be on Saturday at 8 am also from QMMF HQ. It is scheduled that the the finish and podium ceremony will be around 4 pm also.

Founded on 21 July 1987, QMMF is a non-profit goverment organization and is the sole motor sport authority in the State of Qatar. The current President of the organisation is Nasser Khalifa Al Attiya. QMMF is responsible for the administration of all major forms of motorsport in Qatar, controlling both technical and sporting rules in various disciplines. Its main purpose is to promote motorsport in Qatar and Middle East always with safety and fairness. They are focused onhelping the young drivers and riders to develop their skills and passion inmotorsport.
