Limited to a production of 300 cars globally, 30 of these powerful vehicles have been allocated for discerning customers in the Middle East.

Chief Operating Officer, Alfardan Group – Automotive Division, Mohammed Kandeel, said:

BMW M Models perform extremely well in Qatar stemming from our clients passion and demand for high performance vehicles. With the arrival of the BMW M3, BMW M4 and special edition BMW M5, M model fans will be able to take motor sport technology from the track to the road. We are confident that these new models will excite our customers and drive further growth BMW’s high-performance vehicles here in Qatar.’

The launch of the new BMW M3 Sedan and new BMW M4 Coupe sees BMW M GmbH revealing a new interpretation of the high-performance sports car – and carrying the BMW M philosophy over into the fifth generation of the M3. More than 40,000 examples of the fourth-generation BMW M3 Coupe were built, and now the BMW M4 Coupe is poised to continue this success story. The “M4” badge is a reference to the model series that provides the basis for the new M model – and, for the first time, the Coupe will be introduced at the same time as the four-door Sedan variant.

As with all M models, it’s about the power. The high-revving six-cylinder in-line engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology newly developed for the new BMW M3 Sedan and new BMW M4 Coupe produces a maximum output of 431 hp. Its peak torque of 550 Newton metres (406 lb-ft) is available across a wide rev band yet the engine also achieves a reduction in fuel consumption and emissions of around 25 per cent. Both the BMW M3 Sedan and BMW M4 Coupe cover the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds (with the optional seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission).

The new M4 Convertible replicates the performance figures of the new BMW M3 Sedan and the new BMW M4 Coupe. The power unit generates maximum output of 431 hp from its 3.0-litre displacement and serves up peak torque of 406 lb-ft across a wide rev band. The BMW M4 Convertible therefore offers the driver not only exceptionally sporty performance attributes – the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 4.4 seconds (with the optional seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission) – but also sufficient reserves of power to cruise along in relaxed but rapid style with the roof down. Overall emphasises its stylish and distinctive appearance through its individual character and places the fascination of sporty and dynamic open-top driving at centre stage.

In keeping with the anniversary celebrations which have inspired its creation, the special “30 Years of the M5”model has been given the BMW Individual treatment. As a result, it cuts an even more dynamic, head-turning figure than its standard-specification siblings especially with the use of the striking BMW Individual paint shade Frozen Dark Silver metallic. This softly shimmering matt finish accentuates the elegantly muscular forms of the BMW M5 in particularly impressive fashion. GmbH has also placed a 4.4-litre V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology with output of 441 kW/600 hp exceeding that of the standard model by 29 kW/40 hp.
