Targeting core groups who do not exercise or walk on a regular basis, organisers Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) and RasGas Company Limited (RasGas) will provide a complimentary pedometer device to registered participants in Aspire Zone Foundation’s brand new ‘step into health’ programme that kicked off on 22 December. Designed to inspire and urge Qatar’s people to take charge of their future by stepping up their physical activity there is every encouragement to participate.
Along with the complimentary pedometer devices, Aspire Zone Foundation is providing a free online application that helps motivate participants and facilitate the process by analysing results and answering any questions they may have. In addition, AZF will host a range of community inspired events throughout the year encouraging the Qatari community to take part.
Several senior officials from AZF and RasGas attended the agreement signing ceremony, Mr Ibrahim Al Darwish, COO of Aspetar (member organisation of AZF) and Mr Abdulla Hashim, Public Affairs Manager at RasGas, headed the event.
