Holiday Inn- The Business Park

If our first Iftar meal this Ramadan is any indication of things to come this holy month, we are sure that this month is all about family, traditions and good food.

The Ramadan Iftar and Suhoor feasts at Holiday Inn Doha are laid out around their Al Massa ballroom, surrounded by live stations and a variety of cuisines. We came a bit early, and we were able to go around and have a look first at their offering.

Aside from the Arabic dishes, they have separate stations for Asian dishes, Indian food, a live pasta station, a sushi and seafood station, a dessert station with a chocolate fountain (a must try), an ice cream cart, and a ‘Western’ station with sliders and their famous Rodizio chicken wings!

It takes effort to not try everything, and we failed miserably (we tried almost everything)!

A Sparkling Ramadan Experience at Al Masa Tent:  Celebrate the holy month of Ramadan by spending it with family & gathering with special ones at Al Masa Tent. Savour their lavish Iftar buffet with selections of Arabic and International dishes for QAR195.

Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels

If our first Iftar meal this Ramadan is any indication of things to come this holy month, we are sure that this month is all about family, traditions and good food.

SWBH set up their Iftar offering at Argan Restaurant in Al Jasrah Boutique Hotel. The restaurant offers traditional Moroccan dishes with choices of lamb, beef and chicken, all tender and warm, and very comforting. Hands down, they have the best Lamb Tajine in all of Doha.

A man carrying a pot of Moroccan tea makes his rounds at tables indulging guests requesting for a cup and a demonstration. We suggest you take the tea with Kunafa and Umm Ali (which, by the way, is probably the best in town, too) and burn it off by walking around Souq Waqif. And if you get hungry, you can always go back for Suhoor.

Iftar buffet: QAR140 per person (including beverages) 6 pm – 8 pm; Suhoor: A La Carte
*Children below 6 years old dine for free and 6-12 years old gets 50% off.
