The G Ring Road is now in service, on the south side of Doha city.

Access to Hamad International Airport and the Industrial Area will be transformed. It also shows how forward-thinking  the planners at Barwa were. When Barwa Al Baraha (the truckers accommodation), Barwa City and Barwa Village were first opened, they seemed to be remote and somewhat isolated. Now they are almost inner-city and adjacent to the most
convenient road ever built in Doha.

Easy access to the Industrial Area, Qatar Logistics Village and Barwa Al Baraha is obviously critical to the successful integration of the new Hamad Port which has recently been carved into Qatar’s evolving coastline, following Ras Laffan Industrial City and its visible-from-the-moon LNG exporting port; likewise Lusail City with the intricate coastline so desired by seafront dwellers; and Hamad International Airport which admirably performs the role of connecting Qatar to the world.

The transformation of Qatar has incredibly picked up even more pace in recent years under The Emir, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad. We are now seeing the authorities executing enormous visionary projects, on a scale barely thought of just a few years ago but which are necessary in order for Qatar to function successfully and efficiently at the next level.
