We hope we caught your attention with the title! It’s dead easy to make Molasses Snickerdoodle Cookies and should only take 10 minutes – a perfect snack!
- ¾ cups shortening
- 1 cup sugar (plus more for rolling)
- 1 egg
- ¼ cups molasses
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoons cloves
- ½ teaspoons ginger
- ½ teaspoons salt
- Cream shortening, sugar and egg. Add molasses and mix well. Sift dry ingredients together, and add to shortening mixture. Mix until combined.
- Roll dough into small balls, and coat in sugar. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 350ºF/180ºC for six to 9 minutes.
- Remove from baking sheet and allow to cool.
