The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) announced the calendar for 2021-22 Academic Year.

As per the latest announcement by Ministry, the school staff will return to schools on 16 August 2021 followed by the second round of 2020-21 exams for grades 1-12 (day/adult education), which will be between 18 August and 26 August.

The first day of the upcoming academic year 2021-22 for students will be 29 August.

The half-year school break will be from 19 to 30 December. The second semester will start from 2 January 2022.

The Ministry also mentioned a short break from 13 to 17 March 2022 and schools reopens on 20 March 2022.

The 2022-23 academic year will start from 16 August 2022.
