The Ministry of Interior represented by Unified Services Department (USD) of General Directorate of Nationality, Ports and Expatriate Affairs inaugurated its service office at Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC – Qatar 2022) headquarters in Al Bidda Tower, Dafna.
Director of Unified Services Department Brig Abdullah Ahmed Al Ansari, SC Secretary-General Hassan Al Thawadi, Director of Building Affairs Department of Logistics Directorate of MoI Brig Mohamed Thani Al Modahaka, Director of Licensing Department at General Directorate of Traffic Brig Salem Saqr Al Mraikhi and senior officials from the ministry attended the inauguration.
Brig Abdullah Ahmed Al Ansari said:
The office will provide services for employees of SC and for all those working in the tower as well. These services include visa and residence services, criminal evidence and information services (fingerprint service) and traffic services and other services.’
He added that there are now 16 MoI services centres spread across the country in addition to four services offices. He also thanked SC Secretary-General Hassan Al Thawadi for his great cooperation and assitance.
On his part, Hassan Al Thawadi thanked the Interior Ministry for this initiative which will greatly facilitate the work of SC and its employees and its clients and save their time significantly in accessing MoI services. He noted that MoI is always a trendsetter in the government sector with its sincere efforts related to the facilitation of services to citizens and residents and other government agencies.
Brig Mohamed Thani Al Modahaka, Director of Building Affairs Department of MoI said that the new office is equipped with all required facilities in the given premises. He added that new MoI services centres will be soon opened in Onaiza and Al Khor.
The officer of MoI Services Office at SC First Lt Mohammed Saeed Al Kaabi said:
The main services provided through the new office are official visas, family visas, fingerprint services, e-gate services, traffic services, vehicle insurance, company establishment registration, security related complaints, residence permit issuance, cancellation and renewal and exit permit services, he added.
