MoI to Hold Webinar on Duties and Responsibilities of Private Security Personnel
The Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior (MOI) will be conducting a virtual awareness seminar on the duties and responsibilities of private security personnel this Thursday, 8 October, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, via Zoom app.
The virtual event is titled ‘Duties and Responsibilities of Private Security Guards and Services of Establishments’ and Missions’ Security Department’.
Officials representing various sections under the Establishments and Missions Security Department will present papers on various subjects such as functions and services of security departments, duties and responsibilities of private security personnels during pandemic situations and during ‘normal’ days.
The webinar will also explain the precautions that should be taken while transporting valuables; the duties and responsibilities of private security guards working in commercial and residential complexes and hotels; requirements for granting permits for public programmes, celebrations and gatherings, organised by local communities and companies; and the importance of cooperation with private security personnels.
The seminar will be in Arabic but English translation will be provided. The Zoom meeting platform will be open to the public from 8.30 am for meet and greet between seminar attendees, while the main seminar will start at 9:30 am.
