The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) this week announced the launch of an online platform for the prior registration of travellers into the State of Qatar.

The measure aims to facilitate and expedite the procedures of travellers’ entry via the Abu Samra border crossing. The registration service of travellers is currently processed only on-site (at the Abu Samra crossing), according to MoPH.

The Fast-Track service will be designated for people seeking approval in accordance with state entry requirements for pre-registered travellers. In order for travellers to get the Fast-Track service, they must be pre-registered via the platform no more than 72 hours prior to their arrival time and at least six hours before it.
