MSC Cruises announced that MSC Opera will be added as another cruise ship hotel in Doha, working in cooperation with the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC).

The ship will be berthed, ready to welcome visitors at the port from 19 November until 19 December, and will join MSC World Europa and MSC Poesia during the World Cup tournaments.

This new accommodation opportunity for football fans and visitors to Doha can be booked for a minimum of two nights, offering 1,075 passenger cabins.

MSC Opera offers elegant comfort and unique hospitality with a variety of lounges and entertainment venues, including the glamourous La Cabala Piano Lounge, Teatro dell’Opera for evening entertainment, a range of restaurants, spa, gym, swimming pools and whirlpools, located throughout the ship’s nine decks.

Cruise ship accommodations

Cruise ships are among the accommodation options available to visiting fans during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. MSC Poesia and MSC World Europa will be moored at the Doha Grand Cruise Terminal, ten minutes by shuttle to Souq Waqif.

Both cruise ship hotels offer a variety of cabin options, from traditional and ocean-view cabins to balcony cabins and luxurious suites. Each cruise ship hotel offers multiple dining possibilities and an entertainment programme for all ages.

A naming ceremony for MSC World Europa will be held on 13 November during the official inauguration of the Doha Grand Cruise Terminal.
