Msheireb Museums, in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Qatar is inviting aspiring photographers to join their photo competition and win up to QAR3,000.

The competition is open young photographers 14 to 18 years old, who can express the concept of freedom with a photograph. This is inspired by Bin Jelmood House and the Art of Freedom exhibition which is still running until 2 February.

Art of Freedom discusses topics related to modern types of slavery in Arab societies.

To participate in the competition, an individual should post their photo on Instagram with the hashtag #IamAware2022.

Three winners will be selected, with the top winner winning QAR3,000, and the second and third place winning QAR2,000 and QAR1,000, respectively. Deadline for submission is 31 January.
