The Murwab Hotel Group joined this year’s Qatar Sustainability Week organised by Earthna from 8 to 15 October, as part of their commitment to support the country’s national sustainability campaign.

All Murwab properties have implemented various sustainability initiatives at their respective properties, in support of Earthna to meet the set goal of more than 400 sustainability activities for this year.

Sealine Beach, a Murwab Resort has collectively worked towards its environmental goals, establishing multiple responsible business practices such as installing an electric car charging station and double-glazed glass windows for their accommodation units to reduce carbon footprints and conserve energy and water resources.

In addition, the resort also held a beach cleaning activity and sapling planting participated by employees as well as guests during Qatar Sustainability week.

The Avenue, a Murwab Hotel also participated by implementing a recycling initiative – offering electric scooters and bicycles for guests and employees as alternate modes of transportation, and distributing reusable takeaway cups made of environment-friendly materials to all their employees, to eliminate single-use plastic cups.

While Simaisma, a Murwab Resort participated in the power and water-saving initiatives and installed an electric car charging station to encourage the community to protect the environment for future generations.

Last by not least, Jouri, a Murwab Hotel also introduced smart water management practices for all their employees and hotel guests.

Murwab Hotel Group is planning to implement more initiatives in 2023 to deliver their commitment towards Qatar National Vision 2030.
