Nasser Bin Khaled (NBK) and Mercedes-Benz announced their partnership with Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar (VCUarts Qatar) for its 19th Annual Fashion Show ‘Pendulum’, at The Westin Doha Hotel and Spa on Thursday, 3 May.
The NBK-Mercedes-Benz partnership is part of their social corporate responsibility, and their partnership with VCU Qatar is part of wider collaboration with various organisations in Qatar. NBK Holding has a long legacy of supporting major events in various fields, culture and sports. The company is committed to support the economy as well as events that enhance the image of the country.
Pendulum
This show features the collections of 25 fashion students from VCUarts Qatar, and four senior students from the university’s Richmond campus. Pendulum will showcase the individual vision, creativity, and styles of VCUarts Qatar students. The collections on show will present an eclectic mix of day to evening looks. More than 100 garments, ranging from evening to children’s wear will be on show.
NBK and Mercedes-Benz, along with other companies will present awards to outstanding university and departmental design. During the show, NBK and Mercedes-Benz will also display two of their iconic cars – the luxury S Class and the S Cabriolet.
