Al-Ahmadani toured the expo pavilions and got acquainted with the participating designers from Qatar and from other participating countries.

According to Al-Ahmadani, the expo showcased the innovations of Qatari fashion designers and highlighted the development in the field. The expo’s previous editions also presented a variety of high-end Arab fashion and luxurious abayas.

The board member also underscored Qatar Chamber’s concern to support exhibitions that are initiated by Qatari businesswomen to help them promote their products. She also pointed to the role of the Qatari Businesswomen Forum in supporting women in business and helping them to maximise their contribution to the country’s economic activity.

She also praised the innovations of Qatari designers and noted that the large Arab and foreign participation in the expo reflects the increasing popularity of the exhibition.

Vogue Event Company Director Tamader Al Marri, meanwhile, said that the number of participating companies in this year edition affirms the expo’s development year on year. This year’s Merwad Expo features 150 booths and the participation of Lebanese designers for the first time.
