Katara Cultural Village will witness the opening of the 3rd edition of the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition S’hail 2019, with  participation of more than 140 local and international companies from 20 countries, some considered as the most important and largest companies specialised in hunting equipment, weapons and falcons.

S'hail 2019Katara General Manager Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, along with Abdul Rahman Abdul Latif Al Mannai, Executive Director of the Social and Sports Support Fund ‘Da’am’ led the press conference for S’hail and confirmed that the 3rd edition will be the most distinguished at every level, in terms of organisation, diversity and quality. Dr Al Sulaiti also called attention to the increasing number of companies participating this year.

Katara also presented during the press conference, their gratitude to the Social and Sports Support Fund ‘Da’am’ for their constant support of the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition. The event plays a significant role in the preservation of Qatar’s national heritage and cultural values. It also provides a great opportunity for the public, falconers, hunters, traders and visitors from around the world to explore and exchange experiences and knowledge, even products and close business deals.

For his part, Al Mannai said that S’hail has become a milestone in the regional map of exhibitions related to hunting and falcons, noting that the huge international participation expanding every year gives confidence in the exhibition, its success and its importance.

The current edition will be marked by distinguished participation of ministries, institutions, governmental and official bodies such as the Ministry of Municipality and Environment represented by the Department of Reserves and the Department of Livestock and Wildlife.

The launch of S’hail 2019 follows the successful participation of Katara to famous international exhibitions in Germany and Britain, and more recently to the British monthly exhibition ‘The Game Fair’ to promote the exhibition.
