More than two million people in Qatar have received at least one vaccine dose as part of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) numbers showed.

According to the published data as of 28 July, 2,013,080 people in Qatar have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine. The total number of vaccine doses administered as of writing stands at 3,708,551. In the past 24 hours, 22,960 vaccine doses have been administered in Qatar.

This number adds up to the 98.6% of over 60s (the most vulnerable population group) who have been vaccinated with at least one dose. 93.5% on the other hand have received both doses.

81% of the eligible 16-year-old and above population has now received at least one dose of the vaccine, 86.6% have completed the vaccination process. For the above-40 population, 96.2% have already received their first jab, while 86.3% have been administered with two doses.
