The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) announced the working hours at health centres during the Eid Al Fitr holiday this year, starting from 19 until 28 May next week.

The main health centres in Doha, including the Al Rayyan, Abu Baker Al Siddiq, Mesaimeer, Umm Ghuwailina, West Bay, Madinat Khalifa, Airport and Omar Bin Khatab, will remain open from 7 am to 11 pm. Dental services at these centres will be available from 7 am to 10 pm.

For the health centres outside Doha, the Al Wakra HC will remain open from 7 am to 11 pm. Dental services will also be available from 7 am to 10 pm. Al Khor HC will operate from 7 am to 11 pm, and will provide dental services in two shifts, from 7 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 10 pm.

Working hours at the Al Ruwais HC will be from 7 am to 11 pm, and dental services will be available only in the morning, from 7 am to 2 pm. Al Sheehaniya Health Centre is open from 7 am to 11 pm and dental services, from 7 am to 10 pm. Al Jumailiya HC will be on 24-hour on-call service.

Health centres that will close during the Eid Al Fitr holiday include the following: Qatar University, Leghwairiya, Al Daayen, Abu Nakhla, Al Thumama, Al Waab, Al Karaana, Al Wajbah and Al Kaaban (except for the urgent case unit, which will operate round the clock).

Specialised clinics at Leabaib and Airport will provide services from 7 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 10 pm. ENT clinics at the Leabaib and Mesaimeer health centres is open from 7 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 10 pm.

Dermatology clinics will operate at Leabaib Health Centre from 7 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 10 pm, while premarital clinics will work at the Airport HC on Monday (25 May) from 4 pm to 10 pm, and at the Al Rayyan HC on Tuesday (26 May) from 7 am to 2 pm.

These health centres meanwhile, will receive urgent cases daily, anytime (24 hours): Abu Baker Al Siddiq, Muaither, Al Sheehaniya, Rawdat Al Khail, Gharrafat Al Rayyan, Al Ruwais and Al Kaaban.

Health centres designated to examine and monitor suspected cases of COVID-19 are: Muaither, Rawdat Al Khail and Gharrafat Al Rayyan. These health centres are open 24/7. The Umm Slal health centre will still be open daily, from 7 am to 11 pm.

The Community Call Center – Hayyak 107, will still operate from 7 am to 11 pm during the holidays, while the medicine delivery service will stop on Sunday and Monday, 24 and 25 May, and will resume work on Tuesday, 26 May.
