Calling all motor enthusiasts – there’s a race on this weekend!

On Friday the 2nd and Saturday the 3rd of March, Qatar’s motor racing fans can enjoy the action-packed thrill of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East as it debuts at Losail International Circuit. There will be a grandstand for the general public so they can watch all the racing in style – and its free! The event is from 4 pm – 10:30 pm so show up in good time for a seat!

Some of the Arab world’s top circuit drivers are taking part, like Saudi Arabia’s Prince Abdulaziz Al Faisal, who is hoping to win his second GT3 Cup title.

Qatar will be represented by Abdul Rahman Al Thani, who is making his GT3 Cup debut and Saadon Al Kuwari (below) who is aiming to win the Michelin Silver Trophy in the intermediate class.

It will be a weekend of thrilling floodlight night-time racing; the Porsche GT3 Cup will be supported by the fourth round of the Qatar International Road Racing Championship.

Porsche Centre Doha, Al Boraq Automobiles has sent out race invitations to 7000 customers and car enthusiasts and will be hosting 700 VIP guests.

As well as racing, there will be a fleet of unique Porsche models on display, and a wide range of accessories and fashion items available from Porsche Design Driver’s Selection.
