So – what has changed? Why is this model better than it’s predecessor?

According to George Wills, Managing Director of Porsche Middle East and Africa FZE 90% of the car’s components are either new or revised.

The 911 Carrera boasts

  • A wheelbase that is 100mm longer
  • It sits lower on the ground
  • A stretched silhouette
  • A body  made of a light weight aluminium steel construction
  • 0-100 km/h in 4.8 s
  • An athletic 350hp
  • A 3.4 litre boxer engine

This means, among other, that the car has better handling and is faster; on a run around the Nurburgring’s Nordschleige circuit showed the Carrera to be 14 seconds faster than the previous model.
